Jonathan Hoffberg is a digital product and innovation leader with thirty years of experience designing and shipping enterprise and consumer software, and leading multidisciplinary, high-performance teams. As the driving force behind the Lake Merritt Conservancy and their nascent Green Machines venture studio, Jonathan is redefining urban park conservation for the modern era. Jonathan has spoken on the subject of industrial application design at the Augmented World Expo, the Internet of Things Conference, the McGraw Hill Construction Technology Conference and at the US Navy’s Strategic Warfare Command. Jonathan is motivated in equal parts by an insatiable curiosity and a desire to make a difference. As a designer, he has collaborated with world class multdisciplinary teams to deliver innovative design solutions at Accenture, Deloitte, Roche, StubHub, Kohl’s, Dolby Labs & Lucasfilm. He has also worked closely with product and innovation leaders at GE and Ford to develop and codify agile, customer-centric methodologies. Before founding the Lake Merritt Conservancy, he served as VP of Product and Design for Provarity, a SOC-2 Certified enterprise service that revolutionized the tech sales process for its unicorn flagship customer. Jonathan has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Economics from the University of California at Berkeley. In his spare time, he enjoys playing classical piano, and composing and recording music in his home studio.
